Love of dogs

I have grown up with dogs since I was 4 years old we have had dogs in the family, home simply isnt home without a dog.

They make you smile everyday, they comfort in sad times, give you the best welcome and a companionship like no other.

The bond shared between dog and owner is so special. I remember when we collected Tilly my springer poodle cross. I hadnt picked up a paint brush in many years but I felt I wanted to paint her.

My first few atempts were not very good at all but I kept going determind to put on paper my beautiful girl.

From thia point I began to share my paintings foing on to have the privilege of painting other family dogs from instagram requests to friends.

It gives me such joy to paint these special dogs.

I love that each painting is unique to each dog, the backgrounds maybe a special place , sometimes we include a favourite toy or wearing favourite dog coat.
