Cosy weekend

I hope you have had a lovely weekend. I filled the weekend with lots of cosiness. I attended a knitting class in Tarporley to learn to knit. It was wonderful to spend time in company of like minded women and to go home with my first knitted item. We knitted a slipper which I then washed to felt the wool to make a firmer supper to wear. I'm yet to finish knitting the matching slipper.

Tilly enjoyed playing in the last of the snow before it melted with all the rain and I took down our autumn decoration. In its place I have started adding some winter decoration. I took evergreens from our garden to line the shelves of my dresser and created a pomander with orange and cloves, the scent was delightful.

In the evening I met my brother and family and went to the cinema.

Sunday was a roast dinner sort of day with a treat of a hot chocolate.

Finally I couldn't resist doing a little bit of creating designing Christmas tags and a Christmas to do list. If you are a email subscriber these will be sent to you next week for you to download and print.

So a weekend full of simple cosy things perfect
